Diane G. Offutt, owner of Offutt Insurance Services in Pleasanton, California, has been helping her clients plan, implement and continue financial independence for their families and businesses since 1979. Diane’s firm specializes in employee benefit plans for business owners, executives, employees and their families as well as business continuation and key employee compensation packages.
“Financial security and independence are not something that happens by chance,” says Diane. “It is the result of an ongoing process to analyze clients’ needs, wants and desires to create a strategy they are comfortable with implementing. We then monitor that strategy to be sure it continues to fulfill its role as changes in the economy or personal circumstances occur. Just as creating assets is important, protecting one’s family from unforeseen misfortune and liability is equally important. Well thought out benefit plans are also essential to recruiting and retaining qualified employees. Diane is originally from Southern California where she earned her bachelor’s degree in liberal studies from California State University at Northridge. After several years on the East Coast teaching and spending some time in corporate law, she returned to California. She soon found her niche as an independent agent specializing in employee benefits. As the owner of Offutt Insurance Services, the firm has been serving clients in Northern California and nationwide for thirty years.
Her family life as been busy as well. Her daughter, Becky, is a veterinarian in Ohio with her husband Justin. Her son, Patrick, is in Texas where he wants to have his own ranch. Diane is active on a local and statewide level with the California State Horsemens Association, assisting in the expansion and preservation of multi use trails for everyone. She enjoys horseback riding, walking, and yoga.
